Joseph "Joe" Joyce (born 19 September 1985 in London) is an amateur boxer from England.[1][2] He competed in the men's super heavyweight division at the 2014 Commonwealth Games where he won the gold medal.[1] He als won he title at the 2015 European Games in Baku.[3]
Career
Joyce won the super-heavyweight class at the 2012 ABA Championships and 2012 GB Amateur Boxing Championships.
He won the bronze in his class at the 2013 European Amateur Boxing Championships after getting KOd by defending Russian champion Sergei Kuzmin in the semifinal.[4]
At the 2013 AIBA World Boxing Championships he was KOd again, this time by unsung Algerian Hamza Beguerni.[5]
