Josef Styr (3 March 1920 – 30 June 1984) was a Hauptscharführer in the Waffen SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. This was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II.
Hauptscharführer Josef Styr was awarded the Knight's Cross on the 5 April 1945, when a platoon commander in the 10th Company, 9th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment Germania, 5th SS Panzer Division Wiking.
