Jose Roberto "Robbie" Antonio (born 1977) is a real estate developer and managing director of Century Properties, a Philippine real estate development company established by his father, Jose E. B. Antonio, in 1986.[1][2]

Biography

Robbie is the son of José E. B. Antonio, named among the Philippines' 40 richest people.[3][4] He has three brothers, Jigger, Marco and Carlo. Antonio attended Northwestern University where he got a first degree in Economics and pursued his MBA at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.[3]

Career

After graduate school Antonio spent five years in New York[5] where he founded Antonio Development company. He, along with Pei Partnership, developed Centurion in New York City.[6][7][8][9][10]

In the Philippines Antonio serves as managing director at Century Properties, heading its International Collaborations division.[1][3][4][6][11] He has led construction projects such as Trump Tower at Century City, Acqua Iguazu, Acqua Livingstone, Milano Residences, Century Spire, Forbes Media Tower and Paris Beach Club at Azure Urban Resort Residences.[1][3][6][11][12] Antonio has overseen the development of over 45 million square feet of real estate in the Philippines and the United States.[1] He is responsible for setting up many of the company's brand collaborations including Armani/Casa[13] and Trump.[14] Under Robbie Antonio, Century Properties secured the most developments associated with fashion brands (Armani, Hermes, Versace, Missoni) in the world. Personal life

Antonio is an art collector and has a wide art collection.[1] He was named by Artnet as one of the world's 20 most innovative art collectors alongside the likes of David Beckham and Leonardo DiCaprio.[16] He is a board director of Operation Smile Philippines.[17][18] He was also involved in the Resilience by Design UN Exhibit by OOAc, in support of architecture that helps mitigate the effects of natural disaster.[19]

In 2013 he completed construction of his 25,000 square foot Manila home, which he named Stealth, designed by Dutch architect, Rem Koolhaas.[20]
