Jon Penn
Jon Penn (born 1979) is the director and co-founder of British companies Spinning Hat and Goodfibres. While Spinning Hat is a gift and toy designing company, Goodfibres is a company that prints T-shirts with designs chosen by members of its online community. Penn is a known name in the entrepreneurial circuit of United Kingdom.
Career
One of his first worthy accomplishments was to win the Bottle Spy design, an electronic dial bottle opener that counts the number of bottles uncapped by it. It logs in the information during the uncapping. He was awarded the Eco-Friendly Gift Award in the year 2008. Spinning Hat's products are popular in more than thirty countries. Its supplies its products to famous brands like Next, John Lewis, Rubik’s Cube and Paul Smith. Jon Penn now has opened branches in Hong Kong and the US.The headquarters of Spinning Hat has base at the Silicon Roundabout at Old Street. Market experts have forecasted global sales for Spinning Hat at over £3.5 million.
