Samma (tribe)

Not to be confused with Sama-Bajau peoples, an unrelated ethnic groups in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Samma are a Rajput clan. Samma rulers of Sindh were of this tribe. All Samma tribes are given a common name Sammat. Jadeja is also a sub-caste of Samma. Samma ruled Sindh, Panjab and Baluchistan.
