Join or Die with Craig Ferguson is an upcoming American panel show hosted by Scottish American comedian Craig Ferguson. The first season consisting of 22 episodes will begin airing on History on February 18, 2016. The show features Ferguson and a panel of special guests including comedians, actors and academics discussing unorthodox and provocotive historical topics[1]

The title of the show refers to the well known 1754 political cartoon created by Benjamin Franklin which became a symbol of colonial freedom during the American Revolutionary War. Ferguson also got the phrase tattooed on his arm when he became an American citizen.[2]

Production

Guests scheduled to appear in the first season include Judd Apatow, Jimmy Kimmel, Jack Black, Julie Bowen, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Jay Leno, Joel McHale, Jason Biggs and Elijah Wood.

Episodes for the first season will discuss topics such as bad medical ideas, worst political blunder, most influential drug, most influential band, greatest Founding Father, history's biggest frenemies. Six candidates for each title will be analyzed by Ferguson and his panel of three guests (usually a scholarly expert, a comedian or someone that Ferguson has "talked to, liked and respected" in the 10 years that he hosted The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.)[3]
