Johor Lama
Johor Lama is a village situated on the banks of the Johor River, in Kota Tinggi District, Johor, Malaysia.
It is near the site of the former capital of the Johor Sultanate, established by Alauddin Riayat Shah II shortly after the fall of the Sultanate of Malacca in 1511. The fort was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1587.
