Sherman Birthplace, also known as Sherman House Museum is a site in Lancaster, Ohio significant for its association with births and lives of U.S. senator John Sherman and one of his older brother's William T. Sherman, a Union general in the American Civil War.
It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1964.[2][3]
The house is located at 137 E. Main St. in Lancaster, and is operated as a historic house museum by the Fairfield Heritage Association. Public tours are offered seasonally.[4]
