John Hudson (basketball)

John Henry Hudson (born 6 June 1966) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a 2,05m power forward. Born in Anderson, South Carolina, he played collegiately at San Jacinto Junior College and the University of South Carolina.

John Hudson played for Panionios BC, Pagrati BC, Bnei Herzlia, Piraikos BC, Olympique Antibes, Sporting BC, Eltizur Ashkelon. In 1991 he won the Greek Cup while playing for Panionios BC and in 1995 he won the Israeli Cup while playing for Bnei Herzlia. He also was a Greek Cup semifinalist in 1993 while playing for Pagrati BC and Israeli Cup finalist in 1996 while playing for Bnei Herzlia.

Hudson won the first Greek All Star Game Slum Dunk Contest in 1992, and broke the basketball backboard during the contest.
