Johann Baptist Ziz

Johann Baptist Ziz (1779–1829) was a German botanist from the Rhineland.[1] The genus Zizia[2] was named in his honor. Some species of this genus are Z. aurea (common name Golden Alexander)[1][3] and Z. aptera (common name Heartleaf Alexander)[3][4]
