Joseph Peter Tereshinski, Sr. (December 7, 1923 – June 9, 2013) was an American football tight end in the National Football League for the Washington Redskins. He played college football at the University of Georgia and was drafted in the thirteenth round of the 1946 NFL Draft.
Tereshinski was the father of former Georgia Bulldogs Joe Tereshinski, Jr. and Wally Tereshinski. He was also the grandfather of former Bulldogs quarterback Joe Tereshinski III and John Tereshinski, a former tight end of Wake Forest. He died at an assisted living facility in Athens, Georgia, in 2013.[1]
