Joe Lancaster (born 14 September 1990) is the former bassist of metalcore bands With One Last Breath and Asking Alexandria. He is currently the trumpet player of York based Jazz band New York Brass Band.

Lancaster is currently studying music at York College.
Music career
Asking Alexandria (2008-2009)
Asking Alexandria was formed by guitarist Ben Bruce who recruited Joe Lancaster in 2008, along with singer Danny Worsnop, synthesist Ryan Binns, drummer James Cassells and rhythm guitarist Cameron Liddell, however, along with Binns, Lancaster departed from the band in January 2009 and was replaced by Sam Bettley.[1]
With One Last Breath (2010-2014)
Lancaster joined the band as a replacement for Jake Holmes who left the band in 2010.[2] Since his involvement the band has been signed to Small Town Records and released their debut album titled The Fearless Ones in 2014.[3] Lancaster left the band in July 2014 and subsequently joined New York Brass Band, which is also based in York.
New York Brass Band (2014-present)
Joe has played trumpet in New York Brass Band since July of 2014. Along side playing in New York Brass Band Lancaster has been working on his film career playing the lead role in the the hit Disney film 'Cars'. Some people know him as 'Joe Lancaster' other know him has 'Lightning McQueen'. It is rumoured that Lancaster is expected to ditch the Hollywood lifestyle and return to his old band Asking Alexandria.
