Jimmy Jones (comedian)

Jimmy Jones is an English "comedian", known for being outspoken.[1]

Jones attended a Catholic school and had initially wanted to train to be a priest.[1] He grew up in Rainham, East London and currently lives in Upminster.[1]

Jimmy was born 9 February 1938 and although turning 77 this year (2015) he is still going to different venues just in the name of entertainment to make people laugh still. He is still very funny too. He was the first stand up comedian to release a video of his live shows and in the early 1980s had 3 videos in the UK top ten. Jimmy now has a dozen DVDs available as well as his life story 'Now This is a Very True Story' published - penned by Garry Bushell.

Jimmy is currently celebrating his 51st year in show business and still performs throughout the year.
