James Kreuser (born May 20, 1961) is the County Executive for Kenosha County, Wisconsin. He was elected in a special election on June 10, 2008. A member of the Democratic Party, he served in the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 64th Assembly District from 1993 to 2008, was Assistant Minority Leader in 2001 and Minority Leader from 2003 until the Fall, 2008.

Kreuser graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Parkside with a degree in Political Science in 1983, and received a Master of Public Administration degree from UW–Parkside in 1986.[1]
