Jess Thorup (born 21 February 1970) is a former Danish professional football forward, who played for the two Danish Superliga sides OB and Esbjerg fB. He also played for the German club KFC Uerdingen 05, the Austrian club FC Wacker Tirol and the Norwegian club HamKam.
He was head coach of Esbjerg fB starting with the resignation of Ove Pedersen on 14 March 2011.
On 21 February 2013 it was announced that starting 1 June 2013 he would be the manager of the Denmark under-21 national football team, and thereby leaving Esbjerg fB.
