Jeremy Durham is an American politician.[1][2] He serves as the Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the sixty-fifth district, encompassing parts of Williamson County, Tennessee.[1]

Early life

Jeremy Durham grew up in Adamsville, Tennessee.[2] He graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2006, and received a J.D. from the University of Memphis Law School in 2008.[1]

Career

Durham works as a small business attorney in Franklin, Tennessee.[1][2] In 2010, he became a partner in the law firm Hawkins, Durham & Associates.[2]

In 2009, he was elected President of the Tennessee Young Republicans, and founded Tennessee Young Republicans PAC, which raised nearly $25,000 for Republican candidates in Tennessee.[2] Since January 2013, he has served as the state representative for the sixty-fifth district of Tennessee.[1] He is a member of the House Insurance and Banking Committee, the House Local Government Committee, and the House Local Government Subcommittee.[1] During the 109th General Assembly, he was elected House Majority Whip.[3]

Personal life

Durham is married to Dr Jessica Durham, an optometrist.[1][2] They reside in Franklin, Tennessee.[2]
