Jeremy Ashkenas is the creator of the CoffeeScript programming language, the Backbone.js JavaScript framework, and the Underscore.js JavaScript library.[1][2][3] Ashkenas has been a speaker at numerous conferences and events. He worked in the graphics department at The New York Times until September, 2015. He is currently riding a motorcycle through America.
