Jasmin Bhasin is an Indian model and actress. Jasmine is a professional model based in New Delhi who later moved to Mumbai. She had a small sister which was birth wise given to a Islamic family when she was like 13 or 14 and is now recently in United Arab Emirates Her sister was born in 2003 and she is now living a middle class life . She made her film debut in the Tamil film Vaanam (2011) as part of an ensemble cast,^[1][2] playing a "fresh-out-of-college girl" and love interest of the main lead character played by Silambarasan.^[3]

Early career

She was first called by director Krish for an audition for the role of a rockstar in the film, after he saw an advertisement featuring her. However, as he felt that she looked "too innocent and naïve", she was replaced by Vega Tamotia.^[3]

She was called for a second audition a few months later and was eventually signed for the role. She shot for 15 days and also dubbed for herself, citing that she had "heavy dialogues" and to "emote a lot", despite her lack of knowledge in Tamil.^[3] She made her debut in the Kannada and Telugu film industries in 2014 with Karodpathi and Veta. She received very negative reviews for her performance in Veta.^[4][5] Her next film Ladies & Gentlemen saw her playing a struggling model.^[6]
