Jaques van de Kerckhove (1636 1712), was a Flemish Baroque painter.

Biography

He was born in Antwerp and became a pupil of Joannes Fyt.[1] After moving to Italy in 1663 (where he was called Giacomo da Castello), he became the teacher of Giovanni Agostino Cassana.[1] He signed his works with the monogram SJVDK.[1] From 1685 until 1712 he is registered in the Academy of Venice.[1] He died in Venice.
