Jaqueline Carvalho
Jaqueline Maria Pereira de Carvalho Endres (born December 31, 1983 in Recife, Brazil) is a female Brazilian volleyball player, a member of Brazilian national team and Brazilian club Minas Tênis Clube, a double Olympic Champion from Beijing 2008 and London 2012, a double silver medalist of the World Championship and multimedalist of the World Grand Prix.
Personal life
She is married to Murilo Endres, who is also a Brazilian volleyball player, and in 2013 she gave birth to their first child.[1]
Career
She won the Best Spiker award at the 2010 FIVB World Grand Prix.[2] Jaqueline was part of the national team that won the gold medal at the 2011 Pan American Games held in Guadalajara, Mexico. Jaqueline and Brazil's national team won the gold medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.[3] On August 24, 2013 won a fourth gold medal of the World Grand Prix after winning final match against Japan (3-0).[4]
Playing with Sollys Nestle, Carvalho won the gold medal and the Best Receiver award in the 2012 FIVB Club World Championship held in Doha, Qatar.[5] She started her career with Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube, before moving to Italy with Vini Monteschiavo Jesi. After a season she moved to Spain to play for CAV Murcia, before returning to Italy with Scavolini Pesaro.[6]
Carvalho won the silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games when her national team was defeated in the championship match 0-3 to the United States.[7]
