Japhet Waipora
Japhet Waipora (born June 24, 1943) is a Solomon Islands politician. He is a member of the National Parliament of the Solomon Islands, and was elected to Parliament representing Central Makira on 6 August 1997; he was re-elected on 5 April 2006 for the West Makira Constituency[1]
In May 2013 he was convicted for having misused about SI$ 150,000 "that had been earmarked for his constituency in 2008 and 2009".[2]
