Janet Parshall
Janet Parshall is the host of the Christian talk show In the Market with Janet Parshall, which is broadcast on the Moody Radio network. In the Market with Janet Parshall replaced her previous show on the Moody Radio Network called Talking it Over which aired on Saturday, while Parshall was hosting her daily radio program, on the Salem Radio Network called Janet Parshall's America. Salem Radio Network;[1] that program was cancelled in early 2010.[2] She was also the host for the 2004 documentary, George W. Bush: Faith in the White House.[3]
In 2005, President Bush appointed Parshall to serve as a public delegate of the United States at the 49th Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.[4]
Parshall hosted the TV documentary series Speechless: Silencing the Christians, which aired on the Inspiration Network and other religious stations in 2008.[5]
Parshall also hosted a television program called Janet Parshall's America on Family Net in 2004.
Born in 1950, Parshall is a graduate of Carroll College (now Carroll University), in Waukesha, Wisconsin.[6] She serves on the board of directors[7] and on the executive committee of the National Religious Broadcasters.[8] Parshall is the wife of Craig Parshall, who is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel for The National Religious Broadcasters. In February 2014, Janet and Craig lost their son, Samuel R. Parshall (36) to complications of cancer. Janet also has a daughter, Sarah Parshall Perry.[9]
