Janet Kerdikoshvili (Georgian: ჟანეტ ქერდიყოშვილი; born 29 November 1991) is a Georgian beauty pageant titleholder.[2]She was crowned Miss Georgia 2011 and competed at the Miss World 2011 pageant and was designated to represent Georgia at Miss Universe 2013 before she withdrew due to unexpected health problems. In 2015, the Miss Georgia Organization appointed her to compete at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. Janet was previously a participant of a popular Russian reality show "I want to be in VIA Gra", which selects candidates for a musical group Nu Virgos.[3]

Personal life

At the time of her crowning as Miss Georgia 2011, she was in her 3rd year of journalism studies at the University of Tbilisi.[4] As of 2013, she is a graduate with a journalism degree.[5]

Janet was crowned Miss Georgia 2011 during the annual ceremony held at the Art Center in Batumi on October 1.[6] Janet represented Georgia at Miss World 2011 in London, England, UK, but failed to place.

Designations

Janet Kerdikoshvili was appointed as "Miss Universe Georgia 2013" after a casting call took place.[7] Kerdikoshvili was to represent her country at the 2013 Miss Universe pageant at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow Oblast, Russia on November 9, 2013 before withdrawing due to relations between Georgia and the host nation Russia.

On October 16, 2015 Janet was appointed to compete at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, which took place on December 20, 2015.[8] She did not place in the semi-finals.
