Janan Harb

Janan Harb (Arabic: جنان حرب; born 1947) was the wife in March 1968 of King Fahd.[1][2][3]

Early life

Janan Harb was born to a Christian family in Mandatory Palestine in 1947.[2][3] Her father was a restaurateur.[3]

Marriage

When Harb was nineteen years old, she was married to King Fahd in March 1968 who become King of Saudi Arabia in June 1982 .[3] Upon her marriage, she was converted to Islam. Three years later, she was forced to leave Saudi Arabia by Prince Fahd's brother, Prince Turki.[4]

Book

Janan Harb Al Saud stated that she will publish a book entitled "The Saudi King and I" in which her relationship with King Fahd will be detailed.[4]
