Jan Moretus
Jan Moretus, also Johann Moerentorf or Joannes Moretus, (2 May 1543 – 22 September 1610)[1] was a Flemish printer.
Moretus was born in Antwerp, and married the second daughter of the famous publisher Christoffel Plantijn in 1570. He had been working for Plantijn since 1557, and after his death, Jan Moretus would become the owner of his printing company.[2] His works and archives are held in the Plantin-Moretus Museum in Antwerp.
