Jan Karlsson (born 1945) is a Swedish wrestler. He was born in Trollhättan. In 1972 he won an Olympic bronze medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, as well as a silver medal in Freestyle wrestling.[1] He then also won a bronze medal in freestyle and a silver medal in greco-roman at the 1973 World Wrestling Championships. To date, Karlsson is the last wrestler to win a medal in both styles in the same Olympics or same world championships.
