Jamison Ernest

Jamison Ernest is an artist and entrepreneur from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He is best known for working within in any medium and throughout his career and has achieved critical acclaim and independent wealth through art, music, fashion, jewelry, film and technology. He is the founder and CEO of Yellow Fever Creative, Incubator Studios, Yellow Fever fashion label and Brooklyn Beat Records, run under Warner Music Group.[1] Ernest is also the co-owner of Blue Scorpion Investments and Love Universe.

After managing the music group Burlap To Cashmere which led to the sale of half a million records, Ernest founded the band Yellow Fever with their debut album "I Was Here".[2][3]

Ernest co-curated and presented the exhibition Incubator in 2003 along with Vito Schnabel. In 2011, Ernest provided creative direction for an exhibition curated by Schnabel, with limited edition commissioned art work by artist Rene Ricard in honor of the 2011 Red Bulls soccer season. 150 limited edition art prints were produced.

In 2004, Ernest had his debut fashion show that was hosted by Francesa Versace, daughter of Donatella Versace.[2] The high-end fashion label, Yellow Fever has attracted celebrity attention with Heidi Klum, Chanel Iman, the All American Rejects, Desert Magic, Fall Out Boy, and Ryan Leslie fans of the brand.[2]

In April 2007, Ernest opened up the nightclub Angels & Kings with Pete Wentz, member of the rock band Fall Out Boy.[4]

In 2008 Ernest opened his Yellow Fever Clothing Flagship store on Stanton Street in downtown New York City.

In 2010, Ernest signed Memphis: A New Musical, a four Tony award winning show's cast recording, with Warner Music Group.

Ernest has appeared in two films, first in 2004 in the film When Will I Be Loved and then in 2010 the film 13, which was a remake of the film 13 Tzameti featuring Mickey Rourke, 50 Cent and Ben Gazzara; which also featured the single "Cigarettes and Gasoline" from his debut album .[2][3][5]

In 2013, Ernest had his first solo exhibition Bouncing Cars, a series of paintings inspired by a car accident he witnessed. The exhibition was held at the Ambassador Gallery and showcased vibrant and interactive art as Ernest created a maze and gave away seven custom cut diamonds worth $77.777 on each day of the exhibition. The exhibition was named one of the 'Top 5 Art Shows To Visit This Month' by Wild Magazine. [6]

Ernest has worked as a creative director for companies such as Warner Music Group, Diesel, Gitanjali Gems Ltd, Red Bull, NY Red Bulls and Lava Records.
