James Barry (born 29 June 1990) is an Irish hurler who plays for the Tipperary senior team and also for his local club Upperchurch-Drombane. Barry was first called into the Tipperary Senior hurling panel in 2014 and made his senior debut against Dublin in the 2014 National Hurling League.[1] Barry played minor hurling for Tipperary in 2007 and 2008, and under-21 hurling in 2010 and 2011.[2]

Barry made his championship debut for Tipperary on 1 June 2014 in the Munster Championship against Limerick, starting at right half back in a 2-18 to 2-16 defeat.[3][4]
