Jakub Petelewicz

Jakub Petelewicz (born 1975 in Lowicz) is a Polish historian dealing with the topics connected with the Holocaust and Polish-Jewish relationships.[1] He studied history and applied social studies at the Warsaw University. Fellow at United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., and Yad Vashem Institute in Jerusalem. author of numerous articles about the Holocaust of Polish Jewry and Polish-Jewish relationships. Co-founder, academic secretary of Polish Center for Holocaust Research.[2] Managing editor of academic journal Zaglada Zydow. Studia i Materially and its English language edition Holocaust Studies and Materials. Main editor in the Polish Center for Holocaust Research. He was one of the authors of the initial concept and historical content of the Holocaust gallery in the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw. He prepared also exhibition concept and historical narration of the exposition History of Jewish Population of Lowicz in the Lowicz Regional Museum. He cooperates also with Forum for Dialogue among the Nations as an educational expert and advisor. Currently working on the topicJewish Self Help organization in the General Government
