Career

Crystal Palace

Born in Aylesbury, England, Gray started his career at Wycombe Wanderers before joining Crystal Palace when he was fifteen, after Wycombe Wanderers closed their academies at the start of the 2012/13 season.[2] He signed his first professional contract with Palace, effective from 1 January 2013 until the end of the 2014–15 season.[3] He made his professional debut in a League Cup tie against Walsall in August 2014.[4]

On 16 January 2015, Gray joined Cheltenham Town on loan for one month.[5] Gray made his Cheltenham Town debut in a 1–1 draw against Luton Town on 24 January 2015.[6] Gray made three more appearances before returning to Crystal Palace despite being keen on an extension.[7][8]

On 5 November 2015, Gray joined Hartlepool United on loan until 5 December.[9]

Gray's loan was extended until 5 January 2016. On 5 January, when Gray was scheduled to return to Crystal Palace, his loan deal at Hartlepool was extended until the end of the season.[10]
