Jacox is an unincorporated community in Pocahontas County, West Virginia, United States. Jacox is 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Hillsboro. "The Island of the Red Hood", a commune were among the number of homesteaders that settled in the Jacox region in the 1970s. Most of the original settlers remain having raised families, built homes, started business's and contributed to the level of the primarily farming based community.
