Jacob Gagan (born 25 March 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays wing and centre.

Background

Born in Westmead, New South Wales, Gagan played his junior football for Cabramatta Two Blues before being signed by the Parramatta Eels.

Playing career

Gagan played for the Eels' NYC team from 2010 to 2012.[1]

In 2013, Gagan joined the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

In November 2013, Gagan signed a 1-year contract with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks starting in 2014.[2][3]

In Round 13 of the 2014 NRL season, Gagan made his NRL debut for the Sharks against the St. George Illawarra Dragons on the wing in the Sharks 30–0 loss at WIN Stadium.[4]

On 17 July 2014, Gagan re-signed with the Sharks on a 2-year contract.[5]

Representative career

In 2010 and 2011, Gagan played for the Australian Schoolboys.[6][7]

In 2011, Gagan played for the New South Wales Under 18's team.[8]
