Jabalpur–Jammu Tawi Express
The Jabalpur–Jammu Tawi Express or Durgavati Express is a bi weekly mail express train service offered by West Central Railway. It runs between Jabalpur Junction railway station of Jabalpur, an important military hub of eastern Madhya Pradesh state, and Jammu Tawi railway station of Jammu & Kashmir in India. The name "Durgavati Express" have been given in the memory of the great female princess of Mahakoshal region in Jabalpur named Princess Durgavati (Rani Durgavati) who sacrificed her life for her region and fought strongly against the Mughal Emperors to save her empire from being conquered.
Arrival and departure
- Train number 11449 Jabalpur – Jammu Express departs from Jabalpur Station on every Tuesdays at 06:00 A.M. which reaches Jammu the next day at 11:30 A.M.
- Train number 11450 Jammu Express departs from Jammu Tawi every Sunday at 0000 hrs., reaches Jabalpur the next day at 0000 hrs.
