Iziaslav (Ukrainian: Ізя́слав IPA: [iˈzʲɑslɑw]) or Zaslav (Ukrainian: Заслав, IPA: [ˈzɑslɑw]) is one of the oldest cities in Volhynia. Situated on the Horyn river (Ukrainian: Горинь) in western Ukraine, the city dates back to the 11th century.[1]
