Ixerba brexioides, commonly known as Tawari, is an angiosperm tree. Until 2009 it was the single member of New Zealand's only endemic vascular plant family of Ixerbaceae. It is now placed with the New Caledonian genus Strasburgeria in family Strasburgeriaceae.
It is only found in the North Island, between Waitomo and Kaitaia. It is used to make honey.
