Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 1975
Israel took part at the Eurovision Song Contest 1975, Shlomo Artzi represented with the song "At Ve'Ani". Artzi was selected by Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA) in Internal Selection since then their début at the contest in 1973, the Israeli broadcaster, to represent the country at the contest, held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden.
At Eurovision
Artzi performed 12th on the night of the contest, following Belgium and preceding the Turkey. At the close of the voting the song had received of 40 points, placing Israel is 11th out of a field of 19 competing countries. The Israeli jury awarded it's 12 points to the Netherlands. [1] The Israeli spokesperson revealing the result of the Israeli vote in the final was Yitzhak Shim'oni.
