She took a career best 5 for 40 in her seventh Test match, against Australia at the Bradman Oval in Bowral in February 2008 and took nine wickets in the match, winning the player of the match award as England retained the Ashes. She announced her retirement from international cricket on 9 March 2012, although she said she would continue to play county cricket for Berkshire.[3]
