The Irish Democratic Party is a minor Irish political party formed in 2013. The party advocates the introduction of participatory democracy in the Republic of Ireland and plans to run candidates in the 2016 general election, such as the party chairperson Ken Smollen in Offaly and Mark Keogh in Limerick County.[1][2] Members of the party have contributed to the Peoples Debate with Vincent Browne on TV3.
