Ionuţ Popa (born 17 April 1953 in Săvârşin) is a Romanian football coach and former player. He was the coach of Liga II team Șoimii Pâncota from 2004, when they promoted, until January 2009, being the longest serving coach in Liga I up to date. The reason he quit the job was lack of funds. The post was taken by Cristiano Bergodi.[1]
