Iolaus silanus, the Three-tailed Sapphire, is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found in Kenya, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

The larvae feed on Agelanthus subulatus and Agelanthus sansibarensis.
