The International Press Club of Prague o.s. (IPC) was founded in 2013 in Prague by a group of journalists. The club seeks to maintain an international association of journalists working in the Czech Republic and abroad, to encourage the highest standards of professional integrity and skill in the reporting of news, to help educate a new generation of journalists, to contribute to the freedom and independence of journalists and the press throughout the world, and to work toward better communication and understanding among people.

The International Press club is a Non-governmental organisation (NGO) accredited by the Ministry of Interior Affairs, member of the International Association of Press Clubs (IAPC).

One of the main purposes of the IPC is to represent the category of the press members, operating in the country, within European and international institutions, encouraging an extensive and effective debate.

The actual chair of the association is the foreign correspondent Luca Rovinalti.
