International Political Sociology is a peer-reviewed academic journal. It attempts to promote interaction between international relations scholars and disciplines such as sociology. The editors-in-chief used to be Didier Bigo and R.B.J. Walker.[1] Since 2012, the new editors in chief are Jef Huysmans and João Pontes Nogueira.
According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2014 impact factor of 0.734, ranking it 81st out of 161 journals in the category "Political Science".[2]
