International Philippine School in Riyadh
International Philippine School in Riyadh (IPSR; Arabic: المدرسة الفلبينية العالمية بالریاض) is a Philippine international school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is classified as a community international school sponsored by a diplomatic mission.[1]
Mauyag M. Tamano, the former Philippine ambassador to Saudi Arabia, founded the Philippine Embassy School in Riyadh (PESR), which opened on August 10, 1985. Initially the school only accepted children of Philippine diplomatic staff. The school later changed its name to its current one and began accepting children of Philippine domestic workers in Riyadh.[1]
