International Black Sea Club
International Black Sea Club is an international non-governmental organisation uniting several cities on the Black Sea and in its vicinity. It has the status of Observer in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation organisation and the special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council. It was created in 1992 in Odessa, Ukraine and its current president is Sergey Bezdolnyy, the mayor of Azov.[1]
24 cities are its members:
- Bulgaria - Burgas, Varna;
- Georgia - Poti, Batumi, Sukhumi;
- Greece - Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Kavala;
- Moldova - Tiraspol (capital of Transnistria);
- Romania - Constanţa, Galaţi;
- Russia - Azov, Taganrog, Rostov on Don, Tuapse, Anapa, Temryuk District;[2]
- Turkey - Trabzon, Samsun, Izmit;
- Ukraine - Odessa, Mykolaiv, Sevastopol, Ilyichevsk, Kherson, Yuzhny, Mariupol, Yalta, Feodosiya;
