International Baptist Network
The International Baptist Network (IBN) began with a formal meeting September 27, 2004. The IBN was discussed in the Baptist Bible Tribune in 2003. All members hold to the Georgia Baptist Confession of 2004. The organization exists as a progressive counter to the more traditional Sword of the Lord group.
The nature of the IBN is that it is a network giving those who participate the freedom to continue as active members of other groups. Many members of the Southern Baptist Convention have found the IBN to be a good connection to other Baptist leaders.
Members of the IBN include:
- Baptist Bible Fellowship International
- Southwide Baptist Fellowship
- World Baptist Fellowship
- Southern Baptist Convention
