The Institute of Health and Nursing Australia is a professional organization and education provider in the nursing industry providing accredited courses for both domestic and international students through three campuses across Australia, and has its Administrative offices in Melbourne. Founded in the year 2010, IHNA serves as one of Australia's leading providers of comprehensive health and nursing education at several levels.[1]

Founded in the year 2010, IHNA aims at delivering excellence in teaching and learning in Australia and overseas, and become the preferred choice of students in healthcare education. It currently offers vocational education in nursing and continuing professional development programs from campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and through partnerships internationally.

IHNA belongs to the Health Careers International group, a group of organisations committed to quality health education. The other two divisions of HCIG are the Institute of Health and Management , Australia, and EduSystems Australia.

Campuses and Courses

IHNA operates from campuses in three cities across Australia; Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. It also has overseas marketing offices in India, Malaysia and the Philippines. All IHNA campuses are fully equipped with nursing simulation labs, computer centers and modern classrooms.

These Certification and Diploma programs are accredited by AQSA and prepare domestic and overseas students to practice safely and competently in a range of healthcare settings in the country. Some of these courses include the HLT51612 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled-Division 2 Nursing), the Initial Registration for Overseas Registered Nurses(IRON) program, the Registered Nurse Refresher Program and Re-Entry to Practice Program and the HLT61107 Advanced Diploma of Nursing Programs (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) in Mental Health and Aged Care, among others.

These Certification courses are suitable for those who want an entry into the Health and Community Services industry in Australia, and include courses such as the HLT32512 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, the CHC40312 Certificate IV in Disability, the HLT32512 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Acute Care), the CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and the CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability).

IHNA offers a range of comprehensive Professional Development courses for healthcare professionals that help them to re-skill and up-skill themselves in competencies of their choice. These are offered as on-campus or online learning courses. They include Blood Transfusion, Manual Handling, Dementia Management, Infection Control, Pain Management, Palliative Care, Basic Life Support and a host of other popular topics.

IELTS virtual learning classes help students to ace the IELTS at their very first attempt.

These short term courses help students to upgrade their skills in subjects like Medication assistance. More courses are being added to the curriculum every year.
