Information and Audits Committee (Georgia House)

The House Information and Audits Committee is a seven member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and four members. The Committee operates under a House mandate to evaluate legislation involving the state's Department of Audits.[1]

Scope and jurisdiction

The House Information and Audits Committee is responsible for all legislation that deals with the state's Department of Audits. The committee also confirms publication of the House of Representatives' daily journal.[1]
