The Indochinese bush lark (Mirafra erythrocephala) is a species of lark in the Alaudidae family.
Range
The range of M. erythrocephala extends over a large swath of southeast Asia, in Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.[2]
Habitat
M. erythrocephala is home in a variety of open-space habitats up to 900 m interspersed with trees and shrubbery and has adapted to cultivated land. It also exists at forest margins, as well as thickets of bamboo.[2]
Taxonomy
Following work a decade ago by Per Alström, the Indochinese bush lark was split from M. assamica, along with two others, making a new total of four. They are now M. assamica, M. affinis, M. erythrocephala and M. microptera.[3]
