Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Rewari is a Govt. of Haryana run university in Meerpur village, Rewari district, Haryana India. It is a newly established state run University under Indira Gandhi University Meerpur Haryana ordinance of 2013 published in the gazette of Haryana on 7 September 2013. Earlier it was a regional center of M.D. University Rohtak since 1989. Captain Ajay Yadav thanked the CM of Haryana for giving it University status.[1] It was a protracted demand to make it a University.[2]
