The Indian Institute of Management Amritsar (IIM Amritsar) is a public business school located in Amritsar, Punjab, India.[3] It is one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) to be established in 2015. It was inaugurated by Sardar Surjit Singh Rakhra, Minister of Higher Education and Languages, Punjab on 6 August, 2015. The institute has started groundwork for its activities under the guidance and mentorship of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, one of the top five institutes of management in India.

IIM Amritsar is temporarily located within the campus of Government Polytechnic College, Amritsar till it moves to its own campus of approximately 60 acres, which is under construction at Manawala on Amritsar-Jalandhar GT Road, in about 3 years time.[4]

IIM Amritsar initially is offering Post Graduate Programme in Management with a batch of 45 students.

Post Graduate Programme in Management

The two-year Post-graduate Programme in Management, equivalent to an MBA, is the flagship education program which aims to prepare young graduates for senior-level positions in industry.
